Here is information concerning Phil Cohen's Presentation at the regular meeting on 2 April 2012, at 7:00 PM. Phil Cohen was past president of the South Bay Camera Club, having served for three years. He is currently Web Master for sbcc. Last November he updated the sbcc site. Phil's presentation will provide information on what is needed to set up a web site. It includes registering a web name, site structure, setting up images and text for the site and connecting the content to the site. Phil has stated that he will assist us in setting up a new site for GSBUG by extracting content from the current sbcc site, should we elect to do so. This will require developing new text and images by GSBUG members. GSBUG members are invited to visit the site (sbccphoto.org) for a preview of what it is like. No password is required. |
